Example Real-World Solutions

To meet a specific customer request, we designed the Super-THOR artillery grade synthesizer. This ultra-resilient synthesizer is an upgraded variation of our popular THOR package, designed to survive up to 250 Gs of shock. With dual, 16 GHz RF outputs with full detent GPPO shroud connectors and a semi-custom hermetic package design, the Super-THOR is one of the most robust ruggedized products we've ever created.

Low-earth orbit presents challenges, but our Hi-Rel HLX Series is built to perform far beyond the skies. Designed for sounding rockets in aeronomy, microgravity, and astronomy research, the HLX features hybrid architecture enabling higher frequencies in compact SMT packages. Built for harsh conditions, it remains a key component in research missions and is proven for low-earth orbit use (non-qualified).

Maritime and shipboard applications required watertight seals and corrosion-resistant packaging. To meet these demands, we utilized our robust ZFR Series to develop an X-band synthesizer featuring an aluminum package and epoxy seal, protecting it from salt air exposure. The solution was also engineered to withstand intense vibration from the roughest seas on the planet.
